HISTORY
The Sweetbriar property, owned by the Scofield Family for 11 generations since the 1700s, was a vast 1000-acre dairy farm. The farmhouse, constructed in 1840, holds historical significance as the first house in Pound Ridge to receive electricity. Originally a "cottage," the guesthouse was integrated into an existing barn in the early 1900s and has been recently updated and furnished, creating a warm and inviting guesthouse, ready to welcome visitors.
